Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Skillsbiz Education Private Limited (“Skillsbiz,” “we,” “us,” “our”) for your upskilling journey. We strive to ensure you have a rewarding experience while discovering, assessing, and purchasing our courses—whether instructor-led or self-paced. As with any online purchase, this Refund Policy is governed by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. By purchasing a course from Skillsbiz, you agree to all of these policies, including this Refund Policy.
Refund requests may be considered within seven (7) days of the course purchase date provided that no services have been availed, including—but not limited to—Learning Management System (LMS) access, masterclass sessions, or soft-skill classes.
1. Cancellation & Refunds: Online Training
1.1 Self-Paced Learning
- Submit a refund request within seven (7) days of purchase.
- The money-back guarantee becomes void once the participant has logged in to the course.
- Refund requests received after seven (7) days of purchase will not be accepted.
- Fees paid on discounted or subsidised offers are non-refundable; the only option is to change to another course of equal / lower value.
1.2 Instructor-Led Training
- Submit a refund request within seven (7) days of purchase.
- The guarantee is void if the participant has logged into the e-learning portal or attended Online Classroom sessions/received recordings for more than one (1) day.
- Refund requests received after seven (7) days of purchase will not be accepted.
- Discounted / subsidised fees are non-refundable; only course change is permitted.
- Refunds are not applicable for batches rescheduled at the participant’s request.
- Refunds are not applicable if fees were paid via ShopSe EMI or any education-loan facility.
- Refunds are not applicable where payment was made in instalments or a token amount reserved the seat.
- If approved, Skillsbiz will refund the training fee after deducting applicable taxes and LMS charges.
2. Cancellation & Refunds: Classroom Training
- Skillsbiz may postpone, cancel, or change the event location due to insufficient enrolments, trainer illness, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- If Skillsbiz cancels an event, 100 % of the course fee will be refunded provided the request is raised within ten (10) days of purchase. Travel and other personal expenses are not reimbursed.
- Purchases older than ten (10) days will be rescheduled to an upcoming classroom batch at no extra cost, or transferred to a live virtual class if preferred.
- If a participant cancels ten (10) business days or more before the event, 10 % of the fee will be deducted and the balance refunded.
- Cancellations within ten (10) business days of the event receive no refund.
- No refunds or credits for participants who do not attend the course.
- Discounted / subsidised fees are non-refundable; only course change is permitted.
- No refund for batches rescheduled at the participant’s request.
3. Refund Request Procedure
- Email your request to [email protected].
- Include proof of payment, course details, and a brief explanation of the reason for the refund.
4. Duplicate Payments
Refunds for duplicate payments will be processed via the original payment method within ten (10) working days after notification by the customer.
5. General Terms
- Skillsbiz reserves the right to revise this policy at any time without prior notice.
- All eligible refunds will be processed within ten (10) working days after approval by Skillsbiz.
6. Warning
Beware of fraudulent overseas job providers, fake institutes, and counterfeit certificates purporting to be from Skillsbiz Education. To verify authenticity, email [email protected].
